Job summary

AdventHealth Parker in Colorado is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team in the operating room. You will anticipate the surgeon’s needs, assemble instruments, and maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and efficiency during procedures.

The role requires 1 year of OR CST experience, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique in an operating room setting.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with surgeons, nurses, and staff, and to use computer applications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse throughout procedures.
• Maintains high standards to enable cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and medications before procedures; supports satisfaction initiatives and maintains relationships with physicians and staff.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects any breaks immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
