Job description

Job Title: CST/OR Tech

Location: Crescent City, CA

Pay Rate: $1,768 Weekly | $45.00/hour

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)

Description:

Responsible for preparing the sterile field for surgical operations, including setting up sterile instruments, assisting surgeons in gowning and gloving, and draping patients for surgery. Supports the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating surgeons' needs. Ensures department functionality by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup. Adheres to all relevant regulations and policies to ensure safety and privacy, delivering optimal patient care. May also perform specific procedures and help orient new staff.

Requirements:

• BLS - AHA
• CST certification
• 2 Years experience as CST
• Surgical tech duties, rotation of on-call at least 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month

Mandatory Skills:

• 2 Years Experience as CST
