Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for procedures. You will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care with attention to safety and detail.

The position requires 1 year of Sterile Processing experience and an active CST certification. You will work Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pm with weekend call coverage once per month, collaborating with nurses and surgeons to support efficient

• Must hold an active CST certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
