Job summary

ITI Solutions in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Junior CSSP Analyst to join our security operations team on site. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and United States citizenship.

You will monitor DFAS CCE security dashboards, triage alerts, and document incidents under senior guidance. Responsibilities include on-going log review, investigation note maintenance, and participation in training programs to learn CSSP toolsets.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• CEH certification demonstrates security fundamentals.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Defensive Analyst (Basic) training is preferred.
• Basic understanding of network security concepts and familiarity with monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 security monitoring for DFAS CCE on site.
• Monitor security dashboards and alerts for potential incidents.
• Perform initial alert triage and documentation; escalate when needed.
• Document security events in the ticketing system.
• Support log monitoring and review activities; maintain investigation notes.
• Participate in on-the-job experience (OJE) training within 9 months.
• Maintain weekly backups as required by CRG VPN testing guidelines.
• Learn CSSP toolsets and procedures under mentorship.
