Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking an experienced CSSO to support mission-critical classified programs and ensure day-to-day security operations remain compliant with government requirements. You will manage personnel and contract security activities, onboarding/offboarding, and clearance requests across multiple contracts.

You'll work with DISS and SCIF operations, coordinate with government customers, and balance security priorities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CSSO experience supporting personnel security for multiple classified government programs.
  • Experience with DISS and government security systems.
  • Knowledge of SCIF operations, visitor control, access procedures and escort requirements.
  • Experience with contract security administration and government account management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in a classified environment.
  • Experience with agency-specific request processes.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Job description

A day in the life:

As a CSSO, you’ll support mission-critical classified programs and help ensure day-to-day security operations remain compliant with government requirements.

  • Manage personnel and contract security activities, including onboarding and offboarding, clearance requests, account management, and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate personnel security information in DISS and internal security systems.
  • Support physical security and SCIF operations, including visitor access, escorting, access control, and electronic device procedures.
  • Potentially assist with new SCIF buildouts and ongoing facility security requirements.
  • Work closely with government customers and internal teams to address security needs, maintain compliance, and support classified program operations.
  • Balance security requirements and priorities across multiple contracts and programs.
What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a CSSO supporting personnel security and multiple classified government programs in support of the MPO.
  • Experience with government security systems, including DISS.
  • Knowledge of SCIF operations, physical security, visitor control, access procedures, and escort requirements.
  • Experience with contract security administration and government account management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a classified environment.
  • Experience with various agency-specific request processes.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Bonus Skills:

  • Strong experience coordinating directly with government customers and program stakeholders.
  • Broad experience across personnel, physical, and contract security functions.
  • Experience supporting personnel security with other government customers within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

Salary Range:

  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $125,000 - $145,000.
