Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Ramsey, MN is seeking a detail‑oriented Assembly/Packaging worker to build, prep sub‑assemblies, repair, move and ship parts in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will read instructions, complete Oracle transactions, verify quality, and collaborate with multiple departments while operating pallet jacks and a variety of hand and electric tools. This role offers overtime eligibility and a Production Bonus Plan.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to use a computer including processing Oracle transactions.

Job Purpose

Perform a wide variety of tasks to build, assemble, prep sub‑assemblies, repair, move and ship completed parts following established procedures and schedules.

Essential Job Functions

• Assemble CSS parts
• Pull stock CSS parts for shipping
• Ship CSS parts
• Complete Oracle transactions
• Complete and maintain required paperwork
• Verify parts meet quality standards
• Communicate with other departments and/or carriers as needed
• Operate pallet jack (manual and electric)

Non‑essential Job Functions

• Train other employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to use a computer including processing Oracle transactions
• Ability to operate small air, hand and electric tools
• Ability to read operating instructions
• Accurately read a tape measure
• Effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand)
• Work independently in a fast‑paced team environment

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs rarely
• Walk, stand, bend, squat, sit, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
• Operate pallet jack (manual and electric)

Compensation and Benefits

The base wage ranges from $21.25 to $26.13 per hour, includes eligibility for overtime and the Production Bonus Plan. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with 4% employer match; medical, dental, vision, and other insurance plans; paid time off and holidays; short‑term and optional long‑term disability; health and dependent care savings accounts; life insurance and supplemental insurance; and additional employee programs.
