Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for providing support such as servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and handling materials including receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling orders, and inventory checks. This role may involve daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.

Primary Objective

Perform customer service, office administration, and warehouse duties related to a Countertop location.

Primary Functions

• Assist customers with orders, inquiries, samples, and selections; complete sales transactions and accept payments.
• Resolve customer complaints, returns, and order errors.
• Handle office duties such as processing payments, reconciling cash, preparing deposits, updating records, and creating vendor orders.
• Enter customer and plant orders, and manage stock replenishment.
• Prepare sales slips and serve customers.
• Perform warehouse tasks including pulling orders, checking accuracy, inventory counts, restocking, labeling, and maintaining displays.
• Receive and unload inbound shipments, process returns, and notify management of damaged shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility, including safety and general maintenance.
• Adhere to safety rules and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service and warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.

Competencies

• Organization, math skills, time management, computer proficiency, attention to detail, customer service orientation, safety awareness.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, balance, talk, hear, and lift up to 15-30 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 70 lbs. Team lifts are required for longer or heavier items. Vision abilities include close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
