Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a CSR/Logistics Associate for a mid-shift in Morgantown, WV. The role focuses on directing and coordinating documentation and routing of outgoing freight, and verifying reshipment of incoming freight to ensure accurate delivery.

You will investigate shipment discrepancies, coordinate settlements with carriers, and schedule compliant shipments under interstate laws. Prior ERP and SAP experience is preferred for efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to compute discounts, percentages, and volumes.
• Ability to interpret written, oral or diagram instructions.

The administrator also verifies and coordinates reshipment of incoming freight by performing the following duties.**Core Responsibilities*** Directs activities assigning tariff classifications according to type and weight of freight or merchandise; routing and scheduling shipment by air, rail, or truck; and preparing billings from tariff and classification manuals.* Reviews documents to ensure that assigned classifications and tariffs are in accordance with mode of transportation and destination of shipment.* Investigates shipper or consignee complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility.* Directs preparation of claims against carrier responsible and corresponds with shipper or consignee to effect settlement.* Schedules shipments to ensure compliance with interstate traffic laws and regulations and company policies.Qualifying Experience* Associate's degree (A.
