Job summary

Thermal Supply, Inc. is seeking a capable Counter Sales professional to handle order entry, field customer inquiries, and maintain strong vendor relationships in our Portland, OR branch.

You will maintain product knowledge, provide delivery details, process POs and RFQs, and upsell with technical information to boost sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Support and implements all Company promos with all customers.

• Serve as primary contact with accounts - develop excellent relationships
• Provide customers with product and delivery information
• Process purchase orders and requests for quotes
• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
• Educate customers about features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• General knowledge of Refrigeration/HVAC wholesale experience
• Product knowledge and understanding of the Refrigeration and HVAC industries
• Comprehends Thermal's Inside Sales, Warehouse, and delivery functions
• Excellent knowledge of the products that Thermal Supply sells
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Shows good judgement and demonstrates calmness under pressure. Excellent computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Proactive, self-motivated and willingly seeks opportunities to benefit Thermal Supply
