Job summary

Salm Partners seeks a Customer Service Representative II to coordinate product availability, orders, and fulfillment for key customers. You will act as the main liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure accurate, timely order processing in a food manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of relevant customer service experience.
Experience in food manufacturing in USDA-regulated environment preferred.
Experience with customer portals, order management, production planning or supply chain processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate product availability, customer orders, fulfillment, and service for Salm Partners customers.
Serve as primary customer service contact for assigned customers and communicate status by phone and email.
Monitor orders and coordinate with internal teams to support on-time, in-full delivery.
Enter and maintain customer orders in the ERP system; enter purchase orders for private-label shipments.
Maintain documentation for product tracking, traceability, and order fulfillment.
Support compliance with food safety, quality, SQF, GMP, USDA-FSIS, and company requirements.
