Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Warwick, Rhode Island. You will assist customers in-store and remotely via U-Scan, help with rentals, and ensure equipment is ready and safe for use. The role includes hands-on tasks like hitch installation and equipment inspection.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Work environment includes safety precautions around equipment; adherence to safety protocols is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory on smartphones.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certified upon employment).
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
