Lifepoint Health is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to join our hospital team in Las Cruces, NM. This role handles inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments to meet safety guidelines and patient care needs.

The ideal candidate holds CSR certification within 6 months of hire, possesses strong critical thinking, and can work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments per guidelines (AAMI, AORN, TJC, OSHA).
• Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.
• Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on patient needs.
• Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using indicators to verify sterility per policy.
• Monitors antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing daily per manufacturer instructions and documentation.
