Job summary

BFS Foods in Butler, OH is seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to greet customers and assist with purchases. The role is hourly and may be full or part-time, with shifts scheduled by the General Manager.

You will operate a computer, check IDs and prices, stock shelves, and maintain clean store and parking lot areas. Candidates should be able to stand for up to eight hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in coolers and freezers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, write and communicate in English.
• Able to read and complete store forms with basic math.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to eight hours.
• Able to check identification and pricing of merchandise.
• Able to learn and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly service to each customer.

• Clean and maintain store, windows, price signs, and parking lot.
• Work in cooler (36-40°F) and freezer (0°F) for short periods as needed.

Primary Purpose of Job:The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing fast and friendly service to each customer.B. Duties and responsibilities for this position:• Cooperate with and interact in a productive way with fellow employees.• Be able to work and stand for up to eight hours.• Be able to read, understand, write, and communicate in the English language.• Be able to perform mathematical calculations when completing store forms.• Be able to check identification and pricing of merchandise.• Be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds, carry milk cartons, bag-in-the-box soft drink containers, etc. several times a shift.• Be able to stock shelves and coolers.• Be able to retrieve merchandise for customers.• Be able to tolerate exposure to cleaning products and sanitizing solutions.• Be able to clean all windows and change gas price signs.• Be able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, remove and transport trash containers placing them in outside bin.• Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the store.• Be able to enter and work in a cooler up to 45 minutes at a time, with temperatures of 36-40 degrees.• Be able to enter and work in freezer up to 10 minutes at a time, at a temperature of 0 degrees.• Have the ability to learn and work on a computer.Work HoursThe CSR Position is an hourly position. The work schedule for the position will be the responsibility of the General Manager. There are no guaranteed number of hours per week. This position could be full or part-time.
