Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is seeking a CSO Operations Analyst (Management Analyst 3) to join the Sunnyside Community Services Office. You will conduct research and provide journey‑level analyses to support program operations, budgeting, staffing, facilities, and outreach.

The role emphasizes cross‑department coordination, data‑driven decision making, and delivering training on operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field.
• Three years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, and rules.
• Experience may substitute year-for-year of the required education.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed project plans with tasks, owners, dependencies, stakeholders, and timelines.
• Plan meeting agendas, task lists, and status reports with committee leads.
• Analyze poverty, homelessness, and workforce data to identify outreach opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-committee activity, tasks, and deliverables.
• Provide technical assistance to communities and stakeholders on projects.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects affecting multiple programs/departments.
• Identify and plan business process changes for short- and long-term goals.
• Coordinate day-to-day facility use and oversee related activities.
• Liaise with landlords, vendors, contractors, and other agencies on facilities maintenance.
• Develop training on business processes and compliance (e.g., OSHA, Fire safety).
