Job summary

Stealth Biotech is seeking a Chief Scientific Officer to own the antibody programme from pre-candidate selection through IND. This early-stage, hands-on role requires scientific leadership, strategic planning, data interrogation, and managing external partners in a largely virtual environment.

The CSO will shape the scientific organisation, lead translational strategy, and work closely with the founders and leadership on company direction in neurology-focused antibody therapeutics.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in biotech or pharmaceutical drug development.
• Experience in pain, migraine or neuroinflammation is relevant.
• Biologics experience with therapeutic antibodies is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership of the lead antibody programme.
• Define development strategy from pre-candidate selection to IND.
• Lead candidate selection and translational strategy; drive pharmacology, preclinical and IND-enabling activities.
• Manage relationships with CROs, KOLs and external partners; identify risks and plan experiments.
• Collaborate with founders, investors and leadership on company and pipeline strategy.
