Job summary

Control Systems NW (CSNW), a subsidiary of RH2 Engineering, seeks college students in EE/CE/ME/mechatronics for a paid internship focusing on consulting engineering for municipal infrastructure. You will assist CSNW’s design and planning of electrical control systems for automated control systems in municipal and industrial applications such as water and wastewater facilities.

Qualifications include ABET-accredited program, junior status, interest in water, electrical, and transportation

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar degree program at an ABET accredited school
• Must be at minimum Junior status in school
• Interest in learning and applying engineering knowledge in Water, Wastewater, Irrigation, Electrical, and/or Transportation projects
• Prior experience or basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, or any of the following a plus, but not required:

Control Systems NW (CSNW) ,a subsidiary of RH2 Engineering offers college-level students currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar degree programs a paid position that introduces students to consulting engineering focused on utility and infrastructure work for municipal clients. Your work will contribute and support CSNW’s design and planning of electrical control systems for automated control systems in municipal and industrial applications. Such facilities include, water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and treatment plants.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar degree program at an ABET accredited school

• Must be at minimum Junior status in school

• Interest in learning and applying engineering knowledge in the areas of Water, Wastewater, Irrigation, Electrical, and/or Transportation projects

• Prior experience or basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, or any of the following a plus, but not required:

• PLC/ operator interface software development

• SCADA HMI application software

• Basic programming for Python, C, C#, Java, and/or Rust

Compensation starts at around $29.00/hour and will vary based on previous experience and year in school.
