Job summary

Legacy Professional Services is seeking a QA/QC Engineer – CSLA to provide field-based quality assurance and quality control for Civil, Structural, Landscape, and Architectural scopes on hyperscale data center projects. You will inspect site work from grading to architectural finishes and verify compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction industry experience.
• Three+ years of experience in construction inspection, QA/QC, field engineering, or related role.
• Broad understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction means and methods.
• Field experience with grading, drainage, utilities, foundations, concrete, structural steel, building envelope, or architectural construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and technical docs.
• Ability to document field observations accurately and coordinate inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and quality observations for Civil, Structural, Landscape, and Architectural scopes.
• Verify work aligns with drawings, specs, submittals, codes, and owner quality standards.
• Inspect site development activities including grading, earthwork, drainage, utilities, backfill, compaction, paving, concrete, and landscaping.
• Inspect foundations, slabs, embeds, anchors, equipment pads, and concrete construction.
• Monitor structural steel erection, connections, alignment, bolting, welding, decking.
• Inspect exterior envelopes including panels, roofing, waterproofing, sealants, and penetrations.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, mock-ups, and special inspections with contractors and agencies.
• Identify deficiencies, document field conditions, and communicate findings.
