Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (SME) to support a Defense Threat Reduction Agency modernization program. The role emphasizes CSfC, PKI/HSM, and hardened Windows/RHEL environments.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, with DoD CSfC PMO experience and strong automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible. The engineer will build and maintain CSfC infrastructure across multi-layer networks, manage CM/OCSP, CA, and KMPs, and ensure continuous monitoring and ATO readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a STEM field with 12–15 years of related DoD/DoW experience or a Master's with 10–13 years of related experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance required for consideration
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification required
• Extensive experience with CSfC, KMPs, CMPs and NSA CSfC PMO processes
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash and Ansible for automation and remediation
• Experience with PKI, HSMs, CSfC architectures, and hardened Windows/RHEL systems

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain CSfC infrastructure within DoD networks
• Manage PKI, CA/OCSP, and HSMs; ensure CSfC compliance and ATO readiness
• Oversee VMware/Nutanix hyperconverged environments and vSAN storage
• Establish centralized Syslog/audit logging and SIEM integration
• Build OS deployment pipelines using SCCM/MCM and gold image provisioning
• Patch management and vulnerability remediation across VMs and physical hosts
