Job summary

JCS Solutions seeks an experienced Systems Engineer (SME) to support the DTRA CSfC program within the I3TS team. You will architect and maintain PKI/HSM, oversee HCI with vSAN, and enforce robust patching and STIG compliance to sustain ATO.

The role involves Windows/Linux hardening, centralized Syslog, and automated gold-image provisioning via SCCM. The position requires active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and 12+ years in DoD/DoW environments with CSfC expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering with 12–15 years of experience or a Master's with 10–13 years.
Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.
12+ years in DoD/DoW/federal or defense contractor environments.
DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II/III baseline certs (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP).
Experience drafting CSfC KMPs/CMPs for NSA CSfC PMO approval.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain PKI/HSM, manage HCI with vSAN, and implement backup/DR frameworks.
Build and administer hardened Windows Server and RHEL platforms; centralize Syslog; ensure STIG compliance to sustain ATO.
Design, deploy, and maintain CSfC infrastructure across Black/Gray/Red networks.
Develop CSfC architectures aligning with NSA DAR/MA capabilities.
Manage CA/OCSP/HSMs per CSfC requirements; automate OS image deployment using SCCM.
