Job summary

Systems Engineer at CACI International Inc. will contribute to CSfC and Cross-Domain architectures for government networks, developing, installing, testing and deploying secure solutions.

The role requires 1-3 years in systems engineering, active Secret clearance, CompTIA Security+ and knowledge of Linux, VDI, and system hardening. Up to 50% travel; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active CompTIA Security+ certification
• Active Secret security clearance
• Basic knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure and storage solutions
• Basic knowledge of system hardening principles and practices
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies
• Assist in deploying software and operating system updates via automated tools (such as Ansible or MCM)
• Conduct system hardening practices for major operating system platforms (Windows, RHEL, ESXi, vCenter etc.)
• Assist in monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing system performance while maintaining compliance
• Help design, configure and implement CSfC solutions based upon customer specifications
• Assist in conducting systems pre-test and acceptance tests
• Collaborate with government and/or subcontractors at customer site for solution integration
• Assist in developing technical presentations for customers
• Serve as a technical resource at customer briefings
• Requires travel (up to 50%) globally
• Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
• Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
