Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement secure CSfC-based communications for U.S. government systems, focusing on Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Transit protections.

You will work within the Cyber and IT Risk Management family to ensure compliant, layered security across complex environments. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in cybersecurity, hands-on CSfC experience, TS clearance, and NSA CSfC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with CSfC capability packages.
• Solid knowledge and expertise in secure system engineering and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with the NSA's CSfC program, guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret
• Location: Onsite / occasional hybrid allowed
• US Citizenship
• Valid US Passport
• DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure communications solutions based on CSfC standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain compliant architectures for Data-at-Rest (DAR) and Data-in-Transit (DiT).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational requirements for data security and classified communications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CSfC-related technical challenges swiftly and effectively.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies and CSfC updates to continually improve solutions and compliance.
• Create technical documentation that supports CSfC solutions, including system design plans, configuration baselines, and compliance reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of CSfC implementations to identify and remediate security gaps.
