Job summary

TK Elevator in Germantown, TN, is seeking an experienced CSC Coordinator to prepare quotes and revisions for Estimating across traction and hydraulic elevators in NI/Architectural product lines. You will work with branch staff to deliver complete estimates within lead times and handle major projects over $10M.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with fractions, percentages and ratios.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced CSC Coordinator in Germantown, TN.

This position prepares quotes and revisions for all components of Estimating for Traction and Hydraulic engineered elevators within New Installation sales (NI). Estimating for TK Elevator and Vertical Express customers. Work with branch staff to provide complete estimates within specified lead times. This position also handles major and complex projects (over 10 million dollar projects).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Review quote request from customer for completeness and accuracy of required information.
• Review and make necessary changes to quotation pricing based on customer requests (revisions).
• Prepare accurate, timely quotes to customers in all TK Elevator product lines NI and AP (Architectural products)
• Enter data information using estimating tools and enter data.
• Correspond with branch staff to ensure completeness within specified lead times.
• Identify and resolve problems during the quote process.
• Clarify any discrepancies between requested products and the products that TK Elevator can provide.
• Look for process improvement opportunities and participate on process improvement teams as requested.
• Maintain a good understanding of the overall estimating process.
• Utilize product knowledge to perform essential functions of the role.
• Able to make good product/process/pricing decisions.
• Understand the overall impact of customer requests.
• Maintain related forms and files.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Train new employees and team members in all TK Elevator product lines.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Three or more years of related work experience, preferably in a construction-related field required.
• Requires a strong knowledge of all TK Elevator product lines.
• Effective project management skills.
• Expertise in SRT (Sales Response Team) “Gateway” system
• Strong customer service experience and abilities are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and comprehend and organize technical drawings, specifications and procedure manuals preferred.
• Requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong decision making skills with minimal direction.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING

Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree in a construction-related field is preferred; High School and/or Technical School is required.
