Job Description

$2,000 Commitment bonus! The Community and School Based Mobile Therapist will provide one-on-one interventions to a child or adolescent at home, school, daycare, YMCA, emergency room, other community-based programs, or community settings when the behavior without this intervention would require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting. The BHT reports directly to the CSBBH MT and/or BC. This position is a full-time yearly position with benefits.

This position will provide and promote quality services with care and compassion to enhance the emotional well-being and mental health of children, adolescents, and families.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  1. Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Pennsylvania or have a certification as a BCBA or have a graduate degree in ABA or in a human services field (psychology, social work, education, or counseling) required.
  2. Two (2) or more years of experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults, or completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum required.
  3. By January 1, 2021, will need one of the following:
    1. Have a certification as a BCaBA.
    2. Have a certification as an RBT.
    3. Have a certification as a BCAT.
  4. Have a behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
