Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Counselor to provide direct counseling and case management to patients, including individual and group sessions, assessment and aftercare planning.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision, and a willingness to work Monday–Friday with some Saturday rotation. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or similar.
Master's degree preferred.
CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision.

Responsibilities

Maintain caseload per State Regulations
Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and an interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual
Develops a Preliminary Treatment Plan with patient participation per ARS timeline
Completes Treatment Plan Review and updates per ARS manual
Prepares aftercare transition plan for all patients and reviews prior to discharge
Proficiency with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA.
