Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is seeking a CS SPD Non Certified Technician for evening shifts at the Main Campus. Work includes decontamination, instrument inspection, assembly, wrapping and sterilization of reprocessed instruments and distribution equipment.
A High School diploma or GED is required; Sterile Processing certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire. Military experience will be considered for potential alignment with the role.

As a Non-Certified CS/SPD Technician, you will play a key role in how our operating rooms care for patients. In this role, you will provide safe and efficient practices for decontamination, instrument inspection, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization of all reprocessed instruments and distribution equipment. You will be responsible for case cart management and ensuring compliance with departmental standards
A caregiver in this position will work evenings from 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:30am. For the first 90-days during new hire training period, a caregiver in this role will work 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
