Job summary

SPIRE Academy in Geneva, OH is seeking a Computer Science, Robotics & Product Design teacher who will turn student-athletes into builders—coders, engineers, and designers who solve real problems on the field and in the classroom.

This hands-on role goes beyond lectures: you’ll teach five sections across CS, robotics and design, mentor as Academic Advisor, collaborate with coaches and staff, run clubs, and help students develop projects that connect sport and study while embracing a growth

Qualifications

• Credentialed teacher preferred but able to hire the right person with subject matter expertise.
• Ability to build relationships with students and families.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Teach five sections of curriculum spanning CS, robotics, and product design.
• Mentor as Academic Advisor for a group of students and families.
• Collaborate across Sports Mindset, Student Life, Partnerships, Coaching, and Events.
• Partner with coaches to connect classroom learning to athletic activities.
• Track student growth using data and share progress with parents and staff.
• Lead a club or special project each semester (robotics, coding, or design).
• Support study tables and seminar curriculum; be an active campus presence.
