Job summary

SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio, seeks a Director of Campus Operations to lead facility operations, maintenance, campus readiness, and event support across a premier academic and athletic campus.

The Director will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety systems, vendor management, and technology-driven improvements, using software, dashboards, and AI to drive reliability, efficiency, and exceptional student and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in facilities management and campus operations.
• Strong understanding of building systems and safety standards.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating vendors.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to leverage AI and automation for operations.
• Ability to support occasional evening and weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPIRE's Campus Operations team and oversee maintenance programs.
• Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety).
• Oversee vendor contracts, purchasing, and budget planning.
• Develop event readiness and support for major events.
• Collaborate with Athletics, IT, Safety, and Residence Life to ensure guest-ready facilities.
• Champion use of facility-management software and dashboards.
