Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Painter to operate a forklift, highreach, or platform lift to paint in high areas such as baghouse roofs and walls. The role requires working with various ladder sizes and painting many surface types.

The painter may also sand woodwork, perform wallpaper hanging and window repairs, and handle sand blasting equipment and racks. Regular attendance and overtime are expected to ensure a high quality product while maintaining hygiene and safety

Qualifications

• Able to work in high areas and operate platform lifts, high reach, build scaffolding ladders, etc.
• Be a team player and follow EPM’s H&S requirements.

Responsibilities

• Paint in high areas using forklift/high reach/platform lifts.
• Work with many ladder sizes to access surfaces.
• Paint various items such as walls, drywall, doors, and molding.
• Sand woodwork.
• May involve wallpaper hanging and window repairs.
• Sand blast equipment and racks as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and overtime as required.
• Produce a high quality product and adhere to safety and hygiene standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

Painter operates a forklift, highreach, or plat form lift to be able to paint in high areas, i.e. baghouse, roofs, etc.

The painter will work with many different ladder sizes.

The painter will be instructed to paint many types of items – Roll Block walls, drywall, spray new and old buildings, brush doors, molding etc.

Also sanding of woodwork.

The painter may also get involved in wallpaper hanging and window repairs.

The painter also does sand blasting equipment and racks.

*Maintains regular attendance.

*Ability to work mandatory over time.

Performs other duties as requested by Management.

Responsible for producing a high quality product.

Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
