Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools is seeking a part-time Club Advisor for Computer Science at Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School. The role covers regular meetings, supervision of club funds, attendance logging, and coordinating with administrators and advisors for field trips and events.

The contract runs from September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with a flat stipend of $1,000, to be paid in two installments after each semester. Prior experience with high school students is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the subject area and experience with high school students.
• Ability to manage club funds and attend meetings.
• Experience with recording attendance logs and reporting to administration.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with club members.
• Advertise club meeting times, dates, and locations.
• Record attendance for every club meeting.
• Manage all club funds.
• Participate in the annual Club Day activities.
• Supervise club activities including approved field trips and fundraising.
• Attend meetings of the Club Advisors.
• Complete all required Club forms.
