ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for a Provision Master position aboard Crystal Cruises. You will ensure the hotel department is supplied with all items to deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

  • Must have College Degree/Diploma and/or Hotel Management School or related apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in luxury hotel or on luxury cruise ship in F&B.
  • Proven supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Excellent English communication in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Order subsistence, bonded, consumables and equipment for hotel department per MXP plans and policy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory in assigned areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in storerooms and hotel stores.
  • Submit order proposals to Hotel Inventory Officer.
  • Oversee storeroom maintenance and daily issuing of food/beverage/consumables.
  • Ensure USPH standards are maintained.
  • Process invoices in MXP and coordinate with Hotel Inventory Officer.

ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position PROVISION MASTER for CRYSTAL CRUISES!

Provision Master is responsible for ensuring that the Hotel Department is provided with all items necessary to provide an exceptional service to our Guests.

Conditions:
  • Work in top level, 5* cruise company, luxury segment
  • Medical insurance provided during contract
  • Flight paid to ship and to a home address after completed contract

  • Joining expenses: reimbursed upon completion of first contract.
  • STCW: reimbursed upon commencement of second contract.
  • Contract length 5-6 months with following 2 months of vacation.
Responsibilities:
  • Order Subsistence, Bonded, Consumables, Entertainment supplies, and equipment and other items as necessary for the hotel department according to storing plan posted in MXP, freight schedule, maximum and minimum inventory levels, and Company policy.
  • To maintain accurate inventory in assigned areas.
  • To ensure proper maintenance and cleaning procedures are adhered to and that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained in all storerooms and Hotel Stores areas.
  • To submit order proposals for Subsistence, Bonded, Consumables, Uniforms, Linen, Flowers, Entertainment supplies and equipment and all other items as requested for the Hotel Department to the Hotel Inventory Officer.
  • To ensure that items requested do not exceed ships storage capacity and/or affect ships safety.
  • Orders Logo Items and Vending Machine stock in conjunction with the Crew Office
  • To oversee the cleaning procedures and maintenance of all storerooms and Hotel Stores areas.
  • To oversee the daily operation of food, beverage, and consumable issuing.
  • To ensure that USPH standards are always maintained.
  • To process all invoices in MXP.
  • To follow up on shortages, credits and upcoming challenges through constant communication with the Hotel Inventory Officer and Purchasing Department in Los Angeles.
  • To raise Wine Requisitions with the Head Sommelier and forward to the Hotel Inventory Officer for approval.
  • To prepare the ship's requisitions and in-port purchase orders
  • etc.
Requirements:
  • College Degree/Diploma and/or Hotel Management School or other relevant apprenticeship in the food service industry required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a luxury hotel in a similar position or two (2) years’ experience onboard a luxury cruise ship in a Food and Beverage
  • Supervisory/Managerial position.
  • Food and Beverage product knowledge is required.
  • Previous Accounting and/or Hotel Stores experience beneficial.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English (needs to score at least 90% in the onboard English proficiency test).
  • Valid STCW certificates
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have very good administrative skills (proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to adjust communication style to suit the audience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management and guests.
  • Aptitude to lead by example and make executive decisions if required.
  • Talent to teach, coach and mentor subordinate team members.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Minimum 21 years old.
