Job summary

Independent Software is looking for a Cryptologic Computer Scientist, Level 2 to support SIGDEV, CNE, and access discovery. You will develop automation and analytical solutions using Python and Jupyter Notebooks to enable mission activities and streamline analysis.

You will collaborate with XKS and DX, applying computer science fundamentals to solve complex problems, document methodologies, and contribute to national security objectives within a collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

Qualifications

Experience supporting SIGDEV, CNE, access discovery, and/or access enablement activities.
Experience working with XKS and DX.
Proficiency with Python programming and scripting.
Experience developing automation solutions using Python.
Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop technical solutions to complex mission problems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical environment.

Responsibilities

Support SIGDEV, CNE, and access discovery and enablement activities.
Work with XKS and DX to support mission requirements.
Develop Python scripts and automation for technical and analytical workflows.
Create and maintain Jupyter Notebooks for analysis and repeatable processes.
Develop software, scripts, and tools to support mission activities.
Analyze and process technical data to identify relevant patterns and information.
Apply computer science and software development principles to complex technical problems.
Document technical approaches, analytical methods, and findings.
Collaborate with technical and mission teams to support operational objectives.
