Independent Software, Inc. seeks a Cryptologic Computer Scientist, Level 2 to apply software development, data analysis, and computer science skills to support complex mission requirements.

You will work with Big Data, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks to develop automation, manipulate and analyze data, and support mission-focused technical activities. You will collaborate with the XKS and DX teams to develop metrics, enable access discovery, and create automation for analytical workflows, ensuring

Qualifications

• Strong software development and programming experience.
• Experience with Big Data aggregation and analysis.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience using Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience developing metrics or methods for tracking analytical results.
• Experience with access discovery and enablement.
• Experience working with XKS and DX.
• Experience developing Python scripts and automation.
• Experience creating and working with Jupyter Notebooks.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze large and complex datasets
• Use Pandas and Python to support data manipulation and analysis
• Develop and track metrics to support analytical and operational requirements
• Support access discovery and enablement activities
• Work with XKS and DX to support technical and analytical mission requirements
• Develop Python scripts and automation for data processing and analytical workflows
• Create and maintain Jupyter Notebooks for analysis and repeatable technical processes
• Develop software, scripts, and tools to support mission requirements
• Apply software development and computer science principles to complex technical problems
• Document technical approaches, analytical methods, and findings
• Collaborate with technical and mission teams to develop effective solutions
