Job summary

Independent Software in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Cryptologic Computer Scientist, Level 2 to apply computer science, programming, and analytical skills to network data and mission-focused development.

You will use Python and Jupyter Notebooks to automate analytical workflows, develop fingerprints, and create repeatable processes to support complex requirements. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role.

What You Will Do: As a Cryptologic Computer Scientist, Level 2 at Independent Software, you will apply computer science, programming, and analytical skills to network traffic analysis and mission-focused technical development. In this role, you will use Python and Jupyter Notebooks to automate analytical processes and develop repeatable technical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience; OR * Master’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience; OR * Doctoral degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience; OR * Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience clearly related to the position Degree must be in Computer Science. Related fields, such as Engineering or Mathematics, may be considered when the degree program includes, at minimum, a concentration of coursework in foundational Computer Science areas, including:
