Job description

OPS Consulting is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities:

The Cryptologic Computer Scientist will design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to complex cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. This position requires expertise in computer science areas such as operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming theory, and data structures.

Required Qualifications:

1. Level 3:
   • 8 years of relevant experience in computer system research, simulation/model development and prototyping, software design, programming, computational science, algorithm analysis, and reverse engineering/ designing/ developing including hardware and/or software.
   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields such as Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Information Systems, with foundational knowledge in algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics.
2. Level 4:
   • 11 years of relevant experience in similar areas as Level 3.
   • Bachelor's degree in a related field with the same foundational knowledge as Level 3.

Security Clearance:

• A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range:

$49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are guidelines and do not guarantee final salary, which depends on factors such as position level, responsibilities, location, experience, education, certifications, and contract wages.
