CRYPTOLOGIC COMPUTER SCIENTIST

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations.

Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Secondary Locations: Augusta, GA; San Antonio, TX; Oahu, HI; and various locations

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming course and four upper-level math courses (Calculus and above).
• Relevant experience in computer systems research, modeling/simulation development, software design, programming, computational science, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer or information systems, including hardware and software.
• Experience with operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures.
• Ability to leverage computer science expertise to solve mission problem sets.
• Comfort participating in cross-agency working groups, joint development activities, field assignments, and external customer support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple mission teams.

Experience Levels

Entry-level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions may require up to 13 years of relevant experience, depending on educational background.

Salary Range

$116,000 - $255,000. Note: The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee. Compensation considers responsibilities, education, experience, and competencies.
