Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Cryptography Analyst to analyze software/systems for cryptographic vulnerabilities and to assess cryptographic implementations across mission-critical environments. You will review architectures, recommend secure solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and extensive cryptography experience in classified settings, with on-site work in McLean, VA and minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
• Minimum of 12 years of cryptography-related experience in classified environments.
• Experience with Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) and access development.
• Understanding of network protocols and communications technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, methodologies, and techniques.
• Experience reviewing, assessing, and resolving cryptography-related issues and vulnerabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide technical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software applications and systems to identify security gaps, vulnerabilities, and cryptographic weaknesses.
• Assess and evaluate cryptographic implementations, algorithms, protocols, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Required

Desired Experience

• Experience with cryptographic hardware solutions and devices.
• Familiarity with commercial and government cryptographic software products.
• Experience supporting intelligence community or national security missions.
• Knowledge of secure software development principles and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience performing vulnerability assessments or security research activities.

Basic Compensation

$195,500 to $293,200 This range is for the Virginia area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
