Qualifications
- 3+ years in crypto industry with blockchain analytics and OSINT tools
- Solid knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC and related laws
- Experience in financial crime, fraud, virtual assets or blockchain analytics
- Cybersecurity laws, regulations, issues
- Certifications in AML/financial crime (listed in education)
- Deep knowledge of virtual currency technologies
Responsibilities
- Conduct BSA/AML program reviews and control testing; report findings
- Lead financial crime examinations of licensed entities; communicate deficiencies
- Use blockchain analytics and OSINT tools in reviews and examinations
- Serve as SME on crypto financial crime for all Virtual Currency units
- Stay current on BSA/AML laws and transaction monitoring best practices
- Assist in policy/procedure development related to financial crime
- Present analyses and recommendations to leadership
- May supervise junior staff; travel up to 25%
- Perform other duties as assigned
