Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is seeking a strong Events Associate to join the crypto team and drive high‑touch experiences from concept to execution. This role partners across teams to deliver thoughtful events while ensuring flawless execution and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of events production experience, including large conferences and executive experiences.
• Proven ability to manage event budgets, vendors, contracts, and production partners.
• Strong project management, multi‑priority handling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Highly organized, process‑oriented, and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~30%).
• Willingness to work in‑office 2 days per week in San Francisco or New York.
• Experience with enterprise marketing or crypto events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large‑scale external events as part of the crypto Marketing team.
• Manage a 12‑week summer program for the Research team and related hospitality activities.
• Oversee production of premium branded goods for projects and events.
• Lead private dining and salon‑style hospitality moments.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with executives, GTM, Regulatory/Policy, Research, and Investment teams.
• Own event plans, trackers, and communications; drive firm‑wide visibility for events.
• Coordinate with vendors to create collateral, materials, and guest assets.
• Maintain organized event inventory for seamless execution.
