Job summary

Coins.xyz in Brazil is seeking a meticulous Compliance Analyst to join the Legal & Compliance team. You will drive onboarding processes, perform KYC/KYB verifications, and ensure documentation is complete and accessible.

You will lead Enhanced Due Diligence for high-risk clients, help develop AML/CFT policies and SOPs aligned with Lei 9.613/98 and global standards, and support audits and regulatory updates with the Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Law, Economics, or Business) required.
• 2+ years in Compliance, AML/CFT, or Risk in financial institutions or crypto sectors.
• Advanced English and Portuguese proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead external onboarding and due diligence to maintain compliant infrastructure.
• Execute end-to-end KYC/KYB verification for retail and corporate clients.
• Conduct background checks against global sanctions and watchlists.
• Lead Enhanced Due Diligence investigations for high-risk customers.
• Help develop AML/CFT policies, KYC/KYB manuals, and SOPs.
• Support audits and monitor onboarding controls; advise on improvements.
• Stay aligned with local and international regulatory changes.
