Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an AML Investigator to conduct complex investigations across cryptocurrency transactions, brokerage accounts, and fiat movements. You will analyze blockchain activity using Chainalysis/TRM, review activity across Robinhood Financial, Robinhood Securities, Robinhood Crypto, and Robinhood Money, and draft SARs to regulatory standards.

The role supports BSA/AML obligations, with in-person attendance at our offices in New York, Denver, or Westlake.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AML investigation experience in broker‑dealer, crypto firm, fintech, or financial institution.
• Experience analyzing cryptocurrency transactions and using blockchain analytics platforms (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM).
• ACAMS or CFE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into potentially suspicious activity across crypto products, brokerage accounts, and fiat transactions.
• Analyze blockchain transactions to trace fund flows and identify indicators of money laundering or other financial crimes.
• Draft clear Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) that meet regulatory standards.
• Manage full lifecycle of investigations from alert review to case closure.
• Identify trends and propose control enhancements to improve monitoring.
