Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an AML Investigator for its Financial Crimes Investigations team. The role focuses on complex investigations of cryptocurrency transactions, brokerage accounts, and cash movements, using blockchain analytics tools to identify indicators of financial crime.

You will draft SARs, manage investigations end-to-end, and contribute to strengthening monitoring programs. Collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Product, Risk, and Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AML investigation experience in broker-dealer/fintech/financial institution.
• Experience analyzing cryptocurrency transactions and using blockchain analytics platforms.
• Preference for those with Chainalysis or TRM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into potentially suspicious activity across crypto, brokerage, and fiat transactions.
• Analyze blockchain transactions using Chainalysis/TRM to trace fund flows and identify illicit activity.
• Draft SARs meeting regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Manage full lifecycle of investigations from alert to closure; document findings clearly.
