Job summary

ARC3 Gases Inc. is seeking a full‑time Service Technician to install and service on-site cryogenic systems in the Norfolk and Hampton Virginia Region. The role includes maintenance, emergencies, and site surveys with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime. Candidates should have cryogenics experience and related trade skills.

Responsibilities cover installing piping, keeping safety compliance, and maintaining parts stock to support customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of cryogenics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cryogenic and high‑pressure gases and related hazards.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or welding experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain cryogenic and gas equipment.
• Install cryogenic bulk installations at customer sites and Arc3 locations.
• Respond to emergencies 24 hours a day.
• Install decals and warning signs for hazard identification.
• Perform piping system installations per SOPs.
• Conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with codes.
• Perform annual inspections of bulk installation sites.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain stock of parts to repair installations within the customer base.
