Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA seeks a Factory Test Technical Specialist I (1st Shift) to design, build, and operate complex pressurized systems for rocket testing. You will develop real-time data control solutions and guide engineers on testing practices and limitations.

The role emphasizes safety, test plan development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The position is first shift, Monday–Friday, with a 50-hour week including overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with pressureized flight components.
• Operating hazardous equipment with multiple energy sources.
• Building Complex Fluid-Mechanical Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems to support rocket testing.
• Develop and manage advanced data control systems for real-time monitoring and analysis.
• Provide expert guidance to engineers on testing practices, system capabilities and limitations.
• Identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe and efficient testing environment.
• Create, maintain, and refine test plans and procedures to drive reliable testing outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues to improve hardware performance.
