Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. seeks a field service technician to support bulk gas systems at customer and AWG sites in Texas. You will install and service cryogenic vessels and equipment, read detailed drawings, and ensure safety compliance with NFPA 55 and CGA standards. Travel, after-hours work, and strong communication are required.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, maintenance, and coordination with customers, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years’ cryogenic service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install propane and cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Service cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, flow sheets, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NFPA 55 and CGA standards; certifications preferred.
• Handle tools safely and perform brazing per quality standards.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams; basic project management.
