Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Cryogenic Service Technician in Beaumont, TX. This role involves installing and servicing bulk gas systems at customer and AWG sites, including cryogenic vessels, vaporizers, pumps, and regulators.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years cryogenic experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. Overnight travel and after-hours availability are required, with a competitive pay structure and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 3+ years’ cryogenic service experience.
• Strong reading of drawings, flow sheets, and piping layouts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean driving record; Class A CDL a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Install propane and cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Service cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NFPA 55 and other applicable CGA standards.
• Demonstrate quality brazing techniques; certifications preferred.
• Read engineering drawings, flow sheets, and electrical schematics.
• Adhere to safe rigging and lifting procedures.
• Travel overnight as required; after-hours readiness and 24/7 support.
