Job summary

Nikkiso Cryo, Inc. in North Las Vegas is seeking an AMS Engineer II to deliver engineering support for cryogenic pumps across their lifecycle. You will work with Sales, Project Management, Commissioning, Design Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities include spare parts support, MOC management, troubleshooting, warranty investigations, design reviews, field support, and root cause analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 4+ years engineering design and/or field work.
• CSWA: preferred; FE/EIT: preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Create and revise BOMs within CAD and ERP/MRP systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for pump performance (flow, speed, head).
• Review data and performance curves to verify design specs.
• Develop project documentation: test procedures, reports, evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance to field service during installation and maintenance.
• Assist with field investigations, inspections, and assembly/disassembly.
• Support MOC activities for upgrades and modifications; participate in customer meetings.
• Conduct RCA using FMEA, cause-and-effect, What-If analyses.
