Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Board Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of a natural gas processing facility. This individual will monitor and control plant operations through DCS and SCADA systems, troubleshoot process issues, and help optimize production while maintaining safety, environmental, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of oil and gas operations experience, hands-on experience with cryogenic systems, and a proven track record in plant control
Qualifications
- 5+ years of oil & gas industry experience.
- 5+ years of plant operations experience.
- Experience operating natural gas processing facilities and/or cryogenic systems.
- Experience using DCS control systems.
- Experience using SCADA systems for plant monitoring and operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate natural gas processing facilities using DCS and SCADA systems.
- Respond to operational alarms, process upsets, and abnormal operating conditions.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor cryogenic processing equipment, treating systems, refrigeration systems, compressors, pumps, and related plant equipment.
- Ensure products remain within required specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to support equipment repairs, outages, and operational reliability.
- Assist with process optimization efforts to maximize plant performance and throughput.
- Monitor plant operating data, equipment performance, and production metrics.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operating procedures.
- Complete shift reports, operating logs, and documentation accurately and on time.
