Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Field Service Technician in Madison, WI to install and service on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems. The role focuses on safe, compliant installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of cryogenic equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be able to obtain, a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on installation and care of nitrogen on-site generation equipment.
• Supports cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Restores and optimizes pressure reduction equipment with bulk delivery systems.
• Evaluates electrical systems related to N2 generation and cryogenic installations.
• Performs site surveys to ensure compliance with codes.
• Performs periodic maintenance on N2 generation equipment for reliability.
