Job summary

Airgas USA, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in Madison, WI to install and service on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems. You will work with cryogenic equipment and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• HVAC or refrigeration certification or ASSE Medical Gas credentials are a plus.
• Two years of industrial field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and care for on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems.
• Collaborate on installation and care of nitrogen on-site generation equipment.
• Support cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment for bulk delivery systems.
• Evaluate electrical systems related to N2 generation and cryogenic installs.
• Read blueprints, manufacturer drawings, and safety documents.
• Perform piping system installations per SOPs and conduct site surveys.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure timely completion of tasks.
