Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Winchester, KY is seeking an experienced Cryogenic Service Technician to service bulk gas systems at customer and AWG sites.

You will install and maintain cryogenic vessels, vaporizers, pumps, and related equipment, and demonstrate knowledge of standards such as NFPA 55. The role requires after-hours availability, overnight travel, and strong reading of engineering drawings and control schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in cryogenic service-related work.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiar with piping systems, valves, tanks and equipment.
• Project management skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install propane and cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Service cryogenic storage vessels and equipment at customer and AWG locations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, flow sheets, piping and electrical schematics.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 55 and CGA standards; maintain safety protocols.
• Respond to customer service situations on a 24/7 basis; travel overnight as required.
